Shipments and returns

Your pack shipment

Packages are generally dispatched within 1 working day after receipt of payment and are shipped via PARCELFORCE . 

Shipping fees include handling and packing fees as well as postage costs. Handling fees are fixed, whereas transport fees vary according to total weight of the shipment. We advise you to group your items in one order. We cannot group two distinct orders placed separately, and shipping fees will apply to each of them. Your package will be dispatched at your own risk, but special care is taken to protect fragile objects.

Some postcodes within the UK will incur a surcharge, these include postcodes IV, HS, KA27-28, KW, PA20-49, PA 60-78, PH, ZE plus BT, IM, TR21-25

Boxes are amply sized and your items are well-protected.

RETURNS POLICY (part of our terms and conditions)

We hope that you are delighted with your order.

If however, you choose to return your purchase because, for example, it is delivered to you either damaged or faulty, please contact us via the email link below within a maximum period of 14 days from the date you received the goods:

In your initial email please ensure that you attach and send us photographic images clearly showing any and all defects relating to your ordered item along with additional images displaying the condition of the packaging. For your information our couriers are instructed to take photographs of all external packaging at the time of delivery.

We will quickly respond to your email pointing out that any items to be returned need to be dispatched back to us and in our hands within a maximum period of 14 days. At that same time we will advise you of our return address.

Even if your unwanted items are damaged or faulty please make sure that you look after them and that they do not undergo any further damage. They must be returned to us without any further damage and be packed using the original packaging and boxing. This must also include the internal protective packaging that we used to send them to you.

Items should be returned at your cost, safely packaged as described above and returned to us within 14 days of us receiving your initial 'returns request' email.

It is the customer's responsibility to return items to us in secure and suitable packaging. We will be unable to process your return if items are returned to us with additional damage from your original photographic proof so it is essential that you use a safe, insured and reliable means of delivery back to us and one whereby you have access to a recorded and tracked service. If you are returning Furniture or other large or delicate items you must use a courier company that is both insured and experienced in delivery of the type of item being transported.. We cannot be responsible for any lost or damaged parcels or packages. Please note that on large items it is essential that your delivery service contact us prior to delivery return to enable us to book in goods inward. Failure to do this may result in us not being able to receive the delivery. Unless your ordered items are defective or damaged you are responsible for the full cost of returning the product to us.

Please do not dispose of any defective items unless advised by us in writing to do so. Please note we will never advise you take disposal action by verbal means alone, we will always convey that to you via email.

Any defective items will be resent by us as a replacement to you as soon as possible provided the item is still in stock. It is important to note that only out of stock items can qualify for a potential refund . Refunds will be applied minus delivery charges.

Refunds may take up to 7 days to hit your account. With some banks it is possible to take longer. Please note of course that this is out of our control.

Additional delivery conditions applying to Furniture and all large size goods

Please also note that ALL deliveries are to 'Front Door and Ground Floor Doorstep ONLY. Our couriers will not enter your property so please ensure someone is there to help you take your item inside your property.


Unfortunately we cannot ship Furniture or large items to Northern Ireland.

Deliveries to some areas of Scotland, Northern Ireland and remote parts of The UK may incur additional delivery costs. For deliveries outside of England or Wales please get in touch with us for a quote.

Cancellations:

Cancelled order before delivery. 35% of order amount will be held and not refunded as some items such as furniture and special order products may not be held in stock and are specifically bought in to fulfil an order.

Cancellation of your Order and Contract where Belle Maison Vintage is not at fault and there is no statutory right to change your mind. If you request to cancel your Order before it is completed, you will have to make a contribution towards all of our costs which have already been incurred by preparing and working on your order. At our discretion we may offer a refund for an amount of money paid for items not provided deducting a reasonable contribution towards the costs already incurred by us. This may include third party charges to us that have either already incurred a cost to us or have been fully paid by us.

Cancellations cannot be accepted where deliveries have been delayed for reasons outside of our control.


Your Statutory Rights are not affected. Belle Maison Vintage is a UK based business
